What is Threshold Staking?

Threshold Staking allows you to support the Threshold Network's security and functionality by staking your Threshold (T) tokens. The T token serves both as a utility token within the Threshold network and as a governance token for the Threshold DAO. By participating, you help validate transactions and maintain the network's stability, earning rewards in return. This process not only enhances the network but also maximizes your investment. Join us in securing the future of decentralized data privacy with Threshold Staking.

What is Threshold Staking NNR?

With Threshold staking, rewards can reach up to 15% Networks Reward Rate (NRR).

Visit the consolidated P2P.org Rewards and Fees page to check the latest NRR and fees for T tokens. Additionally, we have a special offer for those who stake over $300,000 worth of Threshold.

How to claim Threshold rewards?

Rewards are claimed to the beneficiary address set when tokens are staked and delegated. Anyone can trigger the claim or batch claim function of the smart contract (0xea7ca290c7811d1cc2e79f8d706bd05d8280bd37) and dispense all available tokens to the beneficiary address.

Is there a slashing risk for validators?

No slashing has been introduced at the moment, but it might be activated in the future. There are slashing-related methods in the Threshold smart contract.

Is there a minimum staking amount for Threshold?

Yes, there is a minimum staking amount for Threshold. To participate in staking on the Threshold network, you must stake a minimum of 40,000 T tokens. This requirement ensures that participants have a meaningful stake in the network, promoting active and responsible participation in the network's operations

Do staking rewards compound?

There is no auto-compounding mechanism in Threshold, it needs to be added and authorized to generate additional rewards on top of existing ones.
