If you hold an account with solely unlocked MINA, you have the possibility to receive supercharge rewards (rewards x 2)!

​Locked Mina are ones received from private sales before the public round, or from the Genesis grant. These tokens will become unlocked in 4 years with 25% unlocking every year.

​Unlocked Mina are ones received during and after the public round. Additionally, all staking rewards are unlocked.
​
When an account with only unlocked MINA is assigned for a slot to produce a block and the Block Producer (BP) produces it, the reward for this block is doubled.
​
Therefore it is advised to create separate accounts for your locked & unlocked MINA, as your account with solely unlocked ones has the chance to receive supercharge rewards (X2).
