Since consensus layer (CL) rewards auto-compound back in to the validator, the staker can withdraw any amount from the validator as long as the validator balance remains above 32 ETH according to to Ethereum protocol rules. For example, if the staker has a 33 ETH validator, they can withdraw up to 1 ETH from the validator and leave a 32 ETH balance.
Execution layer(EL) rewards will still be automatically distributed to the respective fee-recipient address. ELR distributions depend on block proposal events and are variable. P2P.org does not control reward frequency or amounts.
To partially withdraw a 0x02 (Pectra) validator, use the Partial Withdrawal action in the P2P.org staking dApp, then enter the amount and confirm the wallet transaction. The partial withdrawal action can only be run by the withdrawal address(the on chain address controlling exit and withdrawal of the validator). The staker maintains control over the validator balance.
How to partially withdraw
To partially withdraw a 0x02 (Pectra) validator, use the Partial Withdrawal action in the P2P.org staking dApp, then enter the amount and confirm the wallet transaction. The partial withdrawal action can only be run by the withdrawal address(the on chain address controlling exit and withdrawal of the validator). The staker maintains control over the validator balance.
Click Connect Wallet. If you cannot find your wallet in the supported list, you can use Wallet Connect.
Navigate to the Portfolio tab.
Find the 0x02 validator you want to withdraw from. Click the ⋮ (three dots) next to that validator.
Select Partial withdraw.
Enter the amount (or use Max if available).
Confirm and sign the transaction in your wallet.
The withdrawn ETH will be sent to the validator’s withdrawal credentials address (the address set as the withdrawal address for that validator).
💡 Important notes
Staking with P2P.org is fully non-custodial: clients retain control of their ETH at all times, and P2P.org never holds or accesses client funds.
Compounding and reward accrual are determined by the Ethereum protocol and network conditions, are variable, and are not guaranteed.
Slashing risks are protocol defined and client borne. Operational safeguards are implemented but do not eliminate protocol risk.
If a validator has a pending partial withdrawal, it can block doing a full exit until that partial withdrawal is processed. This is Ethereum protocol behaviour, not a P2P.org restriction.
That’s it, you have successfully partially withdrawn your validator.
