Before staking, you must have SEI tokens in your wallet. Compass is designed for exploring the best of SEI.
Setting up Compass wallet
Download the Compass extension or app for iOS or Android here.
Create a new wallet or import an existing one. To setup a new wallet, click on Create Wallet
Save your Recovery Phrase somewhere secure. You will need it to recover your account or log in on a different device. If you lose it, you will lose access to your funds! Do not share this Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone; anyone with access to it will have access to your funds!
Create and confirm a secure password. Confirm you have read Terms and Conditions by ticking the checkbox. Click Set Password.
Copy your SEI address to fund your wallet.
Staking SEI
Staking Requirements: Staking SEI requires bonding, and once staked, it has a 21 day unbonding period.
In Compass, go to the Stake($) tab
Click Stake
Search for P2P.org in the validators search bar and click on it to stake.
Enter the amount you want to stake and click Review Stake
Finalize the stake by clicking Confirm Stake
Monitoring and Claiming Rewards
To check your delegation(s), navigate to Stake tab.
Click on your delegation to view deposited amount, switch validator, claim rewards or unstake.
