GRAM | Ledger Wallet unstaking guide

A step-by-step guide to help you unstake your GRAM tokens using Ledger Wallet.

Written by Mike

This process explains how to initiate unstaking on the P2P.org dApp.

Note that the process includes two steps (unstaking + withdrawal) and requires ~0.41 spendable GRAM in your Ledger Wallet (~0.205 to send the unstaking request and ~0.205 to withdraw funds to your wallet).

Steps:

  • Launch Ledger Wallet β†’ Earn β†’ select GRAM β†’ select the account.

  • In the dApp that opens, switch to the Manage tab.

  • Click Withdraw:

  • Confirm the withdrawal request. On your Ledger device, confirm the transaction only once.

  • Sign the transaction.

  • The network will use ~0.205 GRAM to process the request. Make sure this amount is available in your wallet.

  • The unstaking will move to the Pending withdrawal stage first. After the 36-hour unbonding period, it will move to Ready for withdrawal.

  • Once it’s ready, click Withdraw (as shown below) to proceed. Make sure you have at least 0.205 spendable GRAM in your wallet to cover network fees.

  • Enter the amount in the field.

  • Click Withdraw to confirm the request in your wallet.

It will take a few seconds to complete, and the tokens will be transferred back to your wallet.
