Before staking, you must have Babylon($BABY) tokens in your wallet.
Download Leap Cosmos wallet for iOS or Android.
Create a new wallet or import an existing one.
Save your Secret Recovery Phrase somewhere secure. You will need it to recover your account or log in on a different device. If you lose it, you will lose access to your funds! Please do not share this Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone; anyone with access to it will have access to your funds!
Copy your BABY address so you can fund your wallet.
STAKING BABY
On Home tab, click on BABY
Click Stake and then click Stake now
Search and select for P2P.org on the list of validators
Input the desired stake amount. Remember to leave a small amount of tokens to cover fees for future transactions.
Click Review Stake
Review staking details and click Confirm Stake
After you delegate your BABY tokens, your stake becomes active only at the end of the current epoch. On Babylon, an epoch is about 1 hour long, so your delegation usually activates within ~1 hour after you stake. You begin earning staking rewards as soon as your stake is active.
Please note that BABY has an around 2-day unbonding period. You will retain ownership of your assets throughout this period, with the lock-in only preventing you from transferring the funds to other accounts for the specified time.
